General Robotic Surgery Course

This course is designed for doctors from all specialties with an interest in robotic surgery. We recommend that participants have completed the basic robotic surgery course before attending.

This 2-day course focuses on the handling of live tissue, with surgeries performed on anesthetized pigs. Depending on the participants' backgrounds, the course includes training in various procedures such as handling bladder lesions, ureter exposure, iliac lymph node removal, salpingo-oophorectomy, handling intestinal lesions, and nephrectomy. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and the optimal use of the assistant. The purpose of the course is to train skills for further education to become a console surgeon.

Each course accommodates 2-3 participants.

  • Danish resident doctors: 650 euros.
  • Others: 2100 euros.
